maybe you have a bad network adapter
the adapter works fine in network, and when i connected it to few hdd,
it recognize them, but in hdload (and advance) the first screen got stuck.
I remember in 1 of them, i get into the menu, but when i formated it, the format got stuck.
I really want hdd to enjoy movie and games on hdd in my room.
are you using the retail hdl disc? and what size it the hdd your trying? also i would try a different network adapter because there may be a problem with the ide part of the network adapter

3. no, i dont have the chance.
10x for the help guys
Here's a dumb question, but it has to be asked. Do you have the Hard Drive set to master while connected to your PS2? Also, if you can't format the hard drive with HDLoader or HDAdvance try using a homebrew application like uLaunchELF (format while in the ps2), or WinHIIP (format while connected to your PC).

1. Yes, all of them was on master.
2. I tried to format them with winhiip.
Maybe the problem is really in my adapter.
