Some online Questions:

OK, nobody can give me a straight answer. Some say yes, some say no:

I have HDAdvance 2 with some games. Can I utilize the online functions (Say for example THUG 2's Face Download, or MGS3's camoflague, or any other games' multiplayer functions)?

Searching through the forums says yes and no, but yes with HDLoader with patches. Which is it? Yes or no?

And, is there any homebrew apps that have online content, like maybe chat, or sharing of files and stuff (Maybe?)? ELF descriptions tell me little about all their features :)

I'm guessing that's most of them :(. Maybe I oughta get a job and buy some games. So will I get a BSOD (Black Screen Of Death) if I try to use dnas enabled components?

Well actually, you can play just about any game with LAN online. Search google for: kai Xlink, this will allow you to play lan games over the internet (goes through your computer) with other people. Without that, no, you can't, even if you enable network support in the new hdloader the dnas will still fail. Hope this helps!

even you Patch with Disc ID into the image and transfer to the Hard Drive and Using the new HDloader 0.6b it wont let you play online either?

Apparently if you patch the disc, then you can. BUT if you get caught with the same ID as someone else on a server, then you can get banned from playing that game ever again, even with a legit or different disc. That's why it's not recommended. Not many of my games have online functions, so it doesn't matter to me :). I was just wondering

Could there be a way to just change the DNAS files in HEX, so that it will work every time? Also, it might be possible with games from diffrent origins. I have Project: Snow Blind, and its in French (you have no idea how anoying they are :crazy: ). I know that the European versions of game don't have as good DNAS as USA does, because look at Socom 2, Only I think 2 people are able to get online w/ codes all the time and its with one of their own cheat device. In Europe everyone can get online with codes.
