    Holla!

I just wanted to ask: whats the difference between HDLoader and HDAdvance,
why are some people using it both AND: Is there a quicker way for transfering the isos by network than HDL Dumb does?

    Thank you very much!

they are the same... only HDAdvance is a ripoff of HDLoader... HDLoader was hunted down by Sony and killed though so who knows if there are actually any genuine copies left... in terms of compatibility and stuff... they are pretty similar, and will both work on the same HDD and read the same ISO's. HDLoader has patched out there to make it way more compatible but then you have to use the memcard exploit to install it or else have a modchip so you can play the patched version once you've burned it.

i'd say go for HDAdvance for no other reason than more compatibility and bigger HDD support out of the box. if you're interested in installing the exploit then either HDLoader, HDAdvance, or better yet (cause you will have a reason to keep using it), an Action Replay or Gameshark will let you do that.
