solder the network adapter to the ps2?
solder the network adapter to the ps2? –
yes what the title suggest. i have 2 network adapters and one that i don't know if it works and the other brand new
but both of my fat ps2's don't load a hdd or don't even know it has a network adapter
and my one ps2 has had a network with a sata 320gb hdd but after i needed to but some more games on the hdd, the adapter and network adapter stopped working? so i bought a cheap and i mean i don't care if the cdvd drive don't work ps2. still nothing so in the mean time i was tring to use open ps2 loaders smb features and have never succeeded in running anything from my windows xp computer and that was with both crossover and router (i did not use both a the same time) but at the end of that i learned how to setup everything and learned more about networking
but back to the question, can a network adapter (a ps2 one) be soldered to the ps2 mother board?
the pins on the motherboard of the ps2 with the filptop look bent where the network adapter is suppose to go so that is why i ask
