Software To Clone My Old HDD
Software To Clone My Old HDD –
My 80gig is running out of rooms, I need to replace it with a bigger drive. Do you know what software I should use? My new drive will be a 160gig, would I have any issue with it?
Thanks a lot
If you use any Sony software for the PS2 HDD then there is one unavoidable issue. Their drivers use 28-bit LBA and can only use a max of 128 GB. To work around that issue you'll need the DMS4pro mod-chip with ToxicOS.

The best way to do the cloning is to connect both HDDs to the same PC and use WinHIIP to do the job. I've done that twice without any problems. The first time from 80 GB to 200 GB, and the second time from that 200 GB drive to my current one of 300 GB.

I just looked at WinHIIP on my other PC (stupid me forgot about it), it would do a job.
