Socom New Map Plz Help

will hd advance and a 120 g maxtor hard drive work with the new socom map ??

If your talking about Socom 2, no. Socom 2 uses DNA$ wich checks for an athentic disc. So, if your not using a legit disc to play S2, then the check is deemed negitave thus not alloying you to play online or even download the new maps.

the new map must be dl to the hd the disks i have are not backups, im wondering if it will recongnize the map after i dl it to the hd

If you have a chip that supports AUTO-ATAD patching then you can download maps and stuff from all games and tehy will still be playable.

But they will not be playable online because of DNAS and the newest SOCOM 2 patch. I'm having the same problem. I want the new map, but I don't want to blow $90 for the official HDD

I have the official hdd. im wondering if it would be possible to install the maps through a burned cdr or hdl dump? some areas get the new maps 2-3 weeks before my mag arives. it would be nice if i could have my friend send them to me so i wouldnt have to wait days for my opm mag
