    i know that the pc->ps2 transfer speed for the hdl dump is slow....about 0.8.....but recently, i wanted to backup my games on the pc, so i tranferred them back to the pc through hdl dump.....the speed was *very* slow.....about 0.13 !!!! is this common ??

    The speed is asymmetric, but I've never experienced so big difference. Try to switch to an older server, like 0.7.x-one. Sometimes it also depends on the host OS.

    BTW, since you're doing a one-time backup, why didn't you just opened your box and attached HDD to the IDE-cable?

    I agree with b081. It's going to take too long to backup your games. I suggest you just plug the hdd to your pc using an ide cable or an external usb2.0 (or firewire) case.

    I suggest plugging out your hdd and use the pc to back it up. It just takes too long to backup using the network method.
