I'm having problems playing a game due to scratches on the Cd, Actually not playing the game...its more watching the ending (that'll piss ya off) . I tried putting the disk on my HDD by two methods; first cd in the ps2, second cd in PC Cdrom ---> ISO ---> HDLdump. The Hdldump method got me a little further into the ending then the previous method, but still freezes. Does anyone have a brilliant idea on how to remedy this I would love to hear it. OR if someone wants to message me and let me know where to find a copy of Kingdom Hearts. [Its not illegal if you own it].

    Thanks.

I would try to rip it using an image creating program on the lowest speed in your PC (anything except NERO, as that sux), and then burning that. Never ignore errors, as that will give you the same probs in game. If that fails, then see if one of your friends has a DVD drive, and try it on that. If not, then you can probably rent it...

Try one of those disk doctors and then rerip it to your PC. I've used those things before and they work quite well.

Take it to a video rental store. Most of them will have sophisticated DVD repair equipment that can reface the DVD, and the ones around my area won't even charge you to do it. The most you should pay, if you get charged for this service, is a dollar or two.

You mean the ones with the crank/wheel?

I was thinking what would be cool...if i knew how or had the time a website with a library of video game FMVs. That way you could check out movies you missed or figure out what happened in the prequil to a game. im sure copyright would be a big issue tho.

I used to work at Family Video. It's a pretty big chain in the Northeastern U.S. We would repair them for free, and if it was a seriously messed up disc, our machine would use *gasp* SANDPAPER (600 grit, then 1200 grit to smooth it out) to get deep gouges out. Then polish it up and you're done Wouldn't hurt the disc any because the data layer is actually several layers deep.

if you only want to watch the ending , try 2 find the movie directory or .pss files.
if u are lucky u can watch it along with all the others using " ps2play " if not , go download a faq from gamefaqs and read the ending.

    It sucks , I know
