san andreas corrupt save

Yeah, I got a corrupt save with my MGS 2 (Wanted to play it right before the 3 comes out!). Shame, but oh well. Any insight to these problems?
Equipment Specs:
V7 PS2 Messiah 2 Pro Mod /
Seagate 200GB 7200 RPM HDD
Ext HDD Mod
Works Like a Charm! Already filled up all 183 gb!

nope, wouldn't load at all. I ended up starting it again from the beginning. Save wouldn't load with original game either. If it matters I believe I used the /D2 patch.

i had the same problem with madden 2k5 i was like wtf then i just deleted it and didnt play it at all which i dont know how did that happen since it also happen to me with madden 2k4 on the xbox....

haven't had any corrupt save problems and played through all of san andreas. using maxtor 80gb and untouched hdadvance

I had problems with san andreas so i tried some modes and found mode 2 fixed all my problems,but if your save is corrupt chances are you will need to start from scratch.
By the way I completed all the story missions from beginning to end on mode 2 without a problem!
