no.
well, technically there is, just no way to play them. You can copy the files over with ps2menu-k, but no music player as of yet supports the hdd.
Use PlayStation BB Navigator version 0.20 or higher on a Japanese PS2. The Music Channel will rip straight from audio CDs to the HDD. Still, besides playing them via PSBBN, there's only about 2 games currently available in Japan that can actually detect and use the music ripped to the HDD.Originally Posted by P__S__2

the unreleased version of the PS2Reality Media Player Second Edition 'SE' was said to have CDDA support, which in turn might allow copying the songs to hdd. (since hdd support is also included in the version)
the problem is, the new version may never get released.
why is that?
Hermes claims he wants some sort of payment for it....something in regards to not enough money, I don't quite remember.
