Removing dummy files from games to save space on the hdd.
Can someone point me to a tutorial or a guide or something that can remove the dummy files from my games.. Namely Guilty Gear XX which has 2 gb of dummy data on the disc. Seein as how you can make an iso file and send it to the drive with Winhiip, you can very well control what you send to the hdd better than just copying it with the ps2. I understand that dummy files are usually used as a buffer so the laser will read closer to the end of the dics.. (Or so I assume since GGXX reads everything near the end of the disc and I also heard that the laser reads better near the outside somewhere... never towards the front unless its for the boot crap) but this wouldnt matter on the hdd right? You could very well save a hell of alot of space on the hdd by nixing those damned dummies..
