    I just took the HDD out of my Xbox to put a 120GB in it.So i was wondering if the Xbox HDD would work?Im at my friends now so i cant say the brand.Im prety sure its the 10GB one.So ill say which brand it is,but just tell me if there is any hope or not.Thanks

    Mate, brand makes no difference, you'll have to check brand as well as model number.

    just try it. it wont damage your ps2 to do it. make sure you backup any data you have on it though.. if you want to keep it.

    if you're buying a new drive, just steer clear of western digital. i have a 120gb samsung, works awesomely

    Damn,It was a western digital.It wouldnt fit anyways,i could only get one side in.

    if you remove the screws on the power plug it will fit, I don't think anything under 40 is good though.. although I can't remember why

    You mean the 4 prong size?Also do i need the ethernet install disk to be installed from the HDDloader to work?Since i dont use it for internet play?Thanks

    you dont need anything aside from the NA.. hdloader doesnt need the ethernet disc.. and most games dont require it.. they have a program that will setup your net connection for you.
