A question about using PS2savebuilder to remove a file from hard drive. –

OK, here's the problem and my question. I recently purchased Codebreaker 9.1 and added some day 1 files and it saved the codebreaker file on my hard drive and it worked fine. A couple days later I tried adding some more day 1 files and it locked up at the "prepairing file..." screen so I tried adding a smaller number of files and it worked, so I tried adding a few more and it would freeze again. I guess I reached the maximum number of files that it could handle and wasn't able to add any more to it. So then I reset my PS2, tried booting up the codebreaker disc and it locked up at the "setting up cheats" screen and won't finish loading. It won't work at all now because the codebreaker file on my hard drive is messed up. The HDLoader games still work fine. My question is could I take the hard drive out of the PS2, put it in my PC, use PS2savebuilder to open the drive, and then delete the codebreaker file from the hard drive? Would my PC see the drive and allow me to this and is there any possibility of deleting or messing up the HDLoader games that are on the drive? Thanks for any help.
