Just curious, what happends to the games installed after you reached the 127gig limit (on a ps2 format hdd), if you have 160gig hard drive and you use hdl_dump to install beyound the 127gig limit. Do the games just don't show up on hdloader? Just wanted to know if someone has tried it.

I haven't tried it but I imagine if the drive is formatted at as a 127GB drive that is all that is seen, including to HDL_dump. Either it will give you an unsufficient space message or it will write until it reaches the end of the 127GB and stop in error.

Of course this is all speculation.

I have a 160gig hdd and hdl_dump sees 152GB eventhough it was formated by hdloader and on the ps2 it shows up as 127GB. This is why i asked, just to see if anybody had tried it. I don't have that many games to try it myself and i don't want to copy the same game over and over (eventhough you can delete them). You're probably right though hdl_dump will probably give out an error.

Hmm, maybe it will work then. I don't think HDL_dump will give you an error if it can recognize the 152GB. I do think there is a good chance HD Loader itself will give you an error if it tries to run the game though. No harm in trying though.

If HD Loader is 48LBA ready, there should be no problem.

You can say whatever you want, but the source code for the 48LBA ps2atad.irx is already out there.
