Q's about ftping –
could someone help me out with ftping to the ps2 i have the same problem i have read every where else where execftp cuts out mid recive of a file. i was wondering if theres a solution to fix this or another ftp to get mp3s and roms to the ps2 hdd without getting a 6ft pole or a mile of cds
also while im here with my mouth wide open i was wondering about what the IPCONFIG.DAT does for ps2menu-k .31 if theres anyway of getting file accross that way
also just as the thought comes running accross my mind would the be anyway to alter the ps2 reality media player so instead of connecting to the pc to stream media across the network that it could copy it to the hdd instead
If you run PS2Menu-k from PS2Link, you can use it to copy files from PC to PS2.
i dont spose you tell me in big bold letters what to do just using the standard settings
Well I don't know of any fix for the execftp problem, but you can use LaunchELF v3.33 with a usbdrive to transfer your files to the HDD or memorycard. Also as Tec said, you can try starting PS2Menu in your PC by PS2Link and a pc client, but I haven't had luck doing it that way, so I can't say much more about that method.
can some 1 tell me where to get ps2link and a guide how to run it please
because all i get is the ip info and a screen saying ready but nothing else happens
**** edit ****
right i have managed to send ps2menu to ps2link via inlink now how would i be able to transfer my mp3s and roms accross to the hdd on the ps any one tell me how please
