Does HD Combo work with SCPH-79004?
There seem to be install instructions: Installation Main Page
If it realy works - Is the connection between the IDE HDD and the PSTwo direct or through some chip? If it is direct - is there a manual - where, on the mb of the PSTwo, each pin of the hdd should be connected (like Automan's Discovery)?

    What do the pictures show?
Modchip-Points! SX, VCC, 3,3V and so on...

    So to answer your question:
It connects the HDD through a Chip, like the HD-PRO does.

Guys can someone report about speed of HD Combo 2 or HD Pro Kit--like how responsive it?
I know there is connection through ModChip to IDE-HDD.
Does anyone has any of these kits installed?
Please I need report for speed. How quick it is?
Is it faster than run "Games and Linux on PS2 through SMB"?

Best Regards from PS3 Linux User
