do you have a HDD kit for the PS2? cause the PSTwo doesn't even have a slot for the HDD to go into or any way to connect it without some crazy mod kit.

HDLoader and HDAdvance dont work on USB. USB Extreme will, but it is VERY slow, and only about 20% of all games work. certainly no new ones do.

Hey there, don't get all pissy at me for suggesting to use google to find your answer. I personally couldn't answer it because I don't know the versions via model number off the top of my head, but when I needed to find out my ps2's version number, I went to Google and lo and behold I found tons of information about finding out which version my ps2 was.
Just a suggestion on my part, no need to get

ok, fair enough, no point in arguing it anymore, like everybody says arguing online is like the special olympics, even if you win you're still retarded lol
If you're really interested in getting hdloader, you can always look into buying a used chubby ps2 to use it on, one can usually pick up a chubby ps2 for under 50 bucks if you'd be willing to spend that much; just be wary of the malfunctioning laser problem they're plagued with, and having hdloader opens the doors to doing the mc exploit which leads to tons of interesting fun stuff the ps2 can do if you're interested

I believe that V.14 doesn't admit to install a connector IDE to connect HD. I have understood that it is impossible to connect hd connector or hdcombo to these consoles and the only way, for this consoles, is using HD connected to usb.

l75eya, thanks for your input. So the only way is using the USB to connect the HDD? Will this be slower than the Usual read spead from the DVD-ROM?
