PS2Menu questions –
why is it, that i only can see the partitions "boot" and "hdloader settings" in either ps2menu or ps2 menu-k???the partitions made by dms format are not shown?? it also shows some of the installed games partitions (by switching with R1 button) but not all???? (though they cant be mounted, why only some of them show up?)
how can i make partitions, that can be used by ps2menu??
the partitions created by hdloader cannot be read. (such as the game partitions) The hdloader settings partiton is fine for reading, although generally useless.
the _boot partition can be seen, and I actually use it for storing files/applications on so I dont have to make another partition. (since its like 512mb i think) - might as well use the space.
if you get the dms-format-tool from dms3.com, then you can create and expand partitions. (but i wouldnt mess with the boot or hdloader partitions) - any partition you create with the format tool, will be seen and useable with ps2menu.
mhh, but i created a partition for my genesis roms with dms format, dumped them with dms dump, and i can load them just out of pgen. but this partition does not show up when going through the partitions in ps2menu using R1!!???
you need to use L1 to change partitions...
sorry, i meant L1, of course. it does not show up by going through the partitions using L1!! also, ps2menu just shows some game partitions, not all. is there a way to go through EVERY partition on the drive???
