ps2menu-k, need help.

I have been playing around for a while, and i'm left at a blank. I don't know if its me, or what but i can't seem to get it working at all. could someone point me to or write a brief tutorial for this subject.

I have hdloader using it using that hdloader installation, so i guess i have it on there, but to me it seems useless because i can't seem to configure it at all.
I want to be able to select whether i use hdloader or save games from the MC to the HDD

well i answered my own question on how to install it, only problem is, i gotta figure out how to use it, anyway, if anyone else wants to know,
I:
1. got the the exploit installer files

2. got ps2mnu-k v0.31 files

3. Renamed the PS2MNU-K.ELF to BOOT.elf

4. In the exploit install folder, took out all of the files and put in all of the PS2MNU-K files in. this leaves ps2ip.irx, ps2netfs.irx, ps2map.irx, and ul-list.txt (i'm not sure if it does anything, but to be on the safe side, i left it)

5. Updated my Title.db (my ps1 game id thingy) with titleman.exe and put it in the main directory

6. Burned off and installed onto my mem card.

7. Put in the Ps1 game, and yey!

well, this was news to me, so if this is redundant move along and don't look back.

can anyone help me with getting something to install on the hard drive using ps2menu. or if anyone knows how to copy saves over to the hard drive.

For copying saves to HDD, read the readme of PS2Menu-K.

For copy of files from PC use the newest version of PS2Menu-K or start PS2Menu (without "-K") trough ps2link from PC-side.
Use ps2client or pksh as your PC client to enable transfer from host: for PS2 soft (Inlink won´t do).

can i ask a question , buy just inserting a cd to my ps2 or using HDloader .can do i load somthing to the memory card using my modded ps2 so i can enable play of my original backups on my other ps2 "its non-modded ps2".


sorry if it is a lame question, but i dont understand all this stuff and i dont have a router if i need that to connect to the ps2 to pc.

Yeah, you can. I loaded the PS2Menu-K on to my Memory card using my Modded PS2 and now I just plug my memory card into my old Non-modded PS2 and it boots up fine. Using the exploit I can even play games off my hard-drive with my Old PS2 (since it doesn't read DVDs anymore) and minimize the wear on my V10 PS2.
