    Hi all

well let me explain the situation...

i have 2 HDD and One DVD RW drive
1st Hd is 160 GB with 60GB of free disk space external
2nd Hd is 40 GB with 20 GB of free disk space internal in my laptop

i can use partition magic to create an empty partition in the 160GB HD. I want to use this empty partition as my PS2 HD disk.

    the question here is.......

would it work in HDLoader?...do i have to format the whole HD to use it as a PS2 HD? i don't want to bother trying to create a new partition to find out that it doesn't work. so i'm wondering did anyone try this before..

    if its not possible....

any suggestion on how to back up almost 100GB of data?

This will not work, the entire HDD has to be devoted to HDLoader or Advance. I'd suggest either buying another HDD, or just spend a lot of money on blank DVD's and back up your HDD's files. Either way, this isn't gunna be cheap, but another HDD is the easiest method.
