Hi i also got a PS2 HD PRO 7XXXX kit
    I've got a PS2 Slim 70003 (V11) with ModBo 4.0 Matrix Infinity v1.99.
The kit is attached to the PS2 its working , but a a cannot install a loder for it.
Tryed MCBOOT , from a burned disk , from a flash image024.jpgimage022.jpgimage023.jpg and thats what i get The MODBO 4.0 installed on this ps2 CAN NOT BE UPDATED TO SUPPORT HDPro because it is using unrecognised firmaware

HDPro does use a customized firmware inside the Modbo with a modified HD Loader version on it, that's why it doesn't work along with other loaders.

But as far I can remember, the last 0.9 beta-versions of the Open PS2 Loader are ready for HDpro, there is a thread somewhere here about this matter. Of course, you won't find any ELF of the OPL's beta versions here, and don't ask for it... You'll have to compile your own.

    Thank you,

actually as my old ps2 is broken i got a new one, 90004 (pal).
i got the hdpro for backup purpose, and wondered if i could use it as media center in network.

can i do any of this after installing the modbo and the ps2loader elf ( defo8811, if you can share, thanks)?
i never did those before, so thank you very much if any can help

ShinobiX9X I dunno about media center and network thingy , cuz im using it only for games
and with that elf OPNPS2L Dr590 (google it) the kit is working verry good via MCBOOT or in DEV 1 mode on the MODBO 4.0

    I don't think so.

The only way for the currently PS2 homebrews work along with HDPro is doing modifications in its code, like was done with OPL and HD Loader.

SMS (Simple Media System) is the program used for "Media Center" purposes for PS2, but since its developer (Eugene) is retired of the Scene, I don't believe we'll see news about it.
