PS2 HDD not showing on PC when connected via FTP
PS2 HDD not showing on PC when connected via FTP –
I've got a v7 Japanese PS2 with a DSM4 mod with ToxicOS 0.3. Have an 80GB Maxtor IDE HDD which was formatted by ToxicOS. Have installed DMS HDD Explorer and using that have installed Execftps 0.68 to my HD. I can run this program with no problem and can connect my PC to the PS2 via FTP with no problem either.
The problem I'm having is that the only directory my PC can see on my PS2 is mc/. All the guides I've read say there should be three directories: mc/, hdd/ and pfs/. There is no problem with the HDD and am able to run programs and games fine. I've created partitions using the DMS HDD Format Tool v1.1 with the hopes that this would show up on FTP. This hasn't worked either.
I'm guessing it has something to do with the format of the HDD.
Can anyone give me a hand with this one?
