Ps2 HDD in Comp problems...

When I hooked my Ps2 HDD in my comp it said this before windows even stated "Pri slave drive error."
Can someone please help me?!?!

sounds like a jumper error to me... what did you set the jumper as?

it says on the HD "No Jumper = DS (SLAVE)" and thats what i did. I took it off.

if this drive will be sharing an IDE cable with another HD or CD-ROM, make sure that the other device isn't set to be a SLAVE device (otherwise you will have to set your PS2 drive to be the master).

try making the ps2 drive the secondary master... that seems to be a good configuration for me

How would i do that in my bios?

When I have my HD in my ps2 it is set on CS (cable select) and when I put it in my PC I put the jumper onto Slave and it works perfect with WinHIIP. OS is WinXP if it matters.

I figured it out, my computer HD wasn't set on master. SO i set it on master and it worked.
