ps1 games on hd

yeah, i know it won't work, but im just curious; has anyone gotten around this to boot ps1 games off the hd, maybe transfer using hdl_dump? ah im dying to play my old ps1 games over hd. any info will be much appreciated. TIA

ps1 games are only playable on the ps2 by additional hardware or chips. meaning that hdloader boots in ps2 mode (whereas ps1 games use the extra hardware)...and there is no switching or using both at the same time.
