sounds fishy at best from what ive read so far. very few informations on what that software is actually capable of doing and nothing new advertised that hdloader or other tools can not already do.

so my best guess at this moment: just another ripoff to pull a few more bucks out of your pocket.

All they've done is applied the patches from CrazyC and Zero-X that are available here for free.

I think everyone over reacts to HDA and this proloader...I mean, linux is available for download completely free but they sell it in CDs also for convenience, dont see how its soooo different with HDL

but then again, the linux coders get a cut of the pie of the distros that are sold, and here they arent getting anything. I guess thats what pisses people off.

They sell Linux distros on CDs because people who have a 56kb modem can't download 1 700 MB ISO, much less more than that! Some distros have like 10 CDs! If they were going the open-source route like that then they should just post their proloader program on their official site.

But they aren't, they are just selling it to make money.

Your also forgetting ease of use

just pop in the cd and your ready, dont need anything else

otherwise you either need access to a modded ps2, or get a modchip

    so its a serious alternative
