I'm wondering if there are any issues with switching between hdl_dump, HDLoader, and WinHIIP to rip games to an internal hard drive.

I'm wondering if there are any issues with switching between hdl_dump, HDLoader, and WinHIIP to rip games to an internal hard drive.
I'm not really sure, I believe it shouldn't matter. In one of my earlier posts I stated "HDLoader doesn't know how to properly read free space", but I don't really remember where I got that information from or if it's accurate. I've only ever used WinHIIP (last release is v1.7.6) and HDL_dump (last stable release is v0.8.6) to install or remove games from my internal hard drive. I was wondering the same you are on the differences between these programs, so I made this thread (HDL_Dump vs. WinHIIP (Formatting HDD & Installing/Removing Games)). Maybe it will be of some use to you.
I didn't had any issues till now... I've used hdld_server on my PS2 and transfered successfuly a couple of games through hdldumb (the hdldump gui) but I usually use WinHIIP because it's way faster when I plug my ps2hdd on the pcI haven't used HDLoader till now though...
