Problem with 48-Bit –
04-15-2005,02:04 AM
OK I have read over the thread of people having the same issue.Basically I'm running toxicos with the 48-bit patch. But when I connect to the PS2 over the network using hdl_dump .8 it only recognizes 130GB. I have a 200 GB hdd. Is there something else that I'm missing?

Is your hdl_srvr.elf patched to support 48bit?

carlos, you're gonna make a BIG mistake.
Read the TOXICOS readme.txt thoroughfully or you'll be sorry (screwing your HDD).
I won't go in details here since we're not supposed to speak anything DMS.
Later,
Alcahest

Hey you know what thanks zero-x that actually was the fix. Well at least partially. I guess turns out that the new independece compiler doesnt have the hdl_srv.elf with 48-bit support. I loaded the 48-bit elf and that did it. Well partially. Oddly enough it doesnt work hdl_dumb, that one still detects 130GB but HDLDUMP FrontEnd that one detects the whole 200GB.
