Is possible to make PS2R work from HDD??? –

I read recently in another forum a discusion about the Media player, and from the words of one of the creator:
...I have the ability to make HD support in the version 1.50 without the need of change any byte of the software. In that way worked from pendrive and in the same way could work using HDD, not too much work...
I grab the MP and have Ps2Media.elf and OGG with ogg.elf and some IRX's files, so if the modification have not to be done in the main (ps2media.elf), so it has to be in the IRX's or in OGG.ELF.
I have the idea not to modify the elf, but work on the IRX's files, so make it HDD support via HDL or USB. One way could be using cdvd.irx port to ps2hdd.irx and another way could be via ps2vfs.irx used to run movies via network using the ps2 as server and client, as conclusion both files need to be adapted to make this work.
I wonder if some guru here can help me on this, if possible...maybe it's easier than we think.
