Is it possible to make a patch for incompatible games to make them work...

i see that socom 2, jak 3, espn nhl 2k5 are incompatible on hdloader BUT some good great programmer (smart people) created a patch for it to make it work on HDLOADER....

is this possible to make a patch for other incompatible to make it work on hdloader....if this possible...
so why other programmer should begin to make patch for ALL incompatible games.....
(HOPE SOMEONE/MORE PEOPLE WILL STEP UP MAKING PATCH FOR INCOMPATIBLE GAMES)

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that:

1)People don't have the time to figure out what is wrong with the games.
2)People would need to figure out why the game wasn't working in HDL. (What is making the game incompatible)
3)And Such.

It'd be great if more patches came along, but I'm not holding my breath. I really appreciate the guys who come through and come out with these patches, but I understand also if they don't have the time and such to keep making them for other games. It's a fairly difficult thing to do if you don't know what you're looking for. (AFAIK. I could be wrong, but hey, I would rather overestimate then underestimate these people ) Just take em as they come.

I am sure there are people out there who are trying to resolve the incompatability issues with hdl/hda, personnaly I am happy with the patches that have come out so far. especially the star wars battlefront patch.

I've had the same thoughts actually, not about me making patches (not a coder), but about patches being made available...

It seems there are patches for pretty much EVERY XBox game, to work from HD, so obviously someone in that scene finds the time to do it, so why not us poor PS2ers'

you know why thers to few ps2 developers out there comparing to xbox developers...
cuz in ps2 it is really hard to make apps or other tools on ps2 not like xbox...
xbox is like windows that u can make apps for it quickly if u are programmer...

for the patch i would say that, peolpe dont know how the incompatible work on hdloader... but surely that somebody will fix it...since zero x gives us info what does the modes do on the game on hdloader...

maybe the [t]0x1c os(hdloader alike) have fix on incompatible games or problmatic games....
but they said that[t]0x1c oswill work only on d]ms.4 (pro) chip...
lets hope it will work on other chip or unmoded ps2....
