I looked around a bunch of threads without finding a direct answer.. I want to copy a dvd backup (DVD-R) to my hd through HDLoader. I burned it with alcohol 120% at 4x from an ISO image. The PS2 reads it for about a minute then says "Disc inserted is not a valid PS2 disc!" Is this not possible? Would I be able to do it if I used a slidecard?

Setup: v4, 120gb hd, exploits installed, free hdloader, slide card (home made, I dont have the boot discs)

    Thanks in advance

not gonna work without a boot disc / mod chip unless you throw the drive in your pc and use one of the many pc based proggies to install the backup ... read up on them ... many of them are stickies in this very forum

Well, I have a messiah 2 chip on a v7 ps2 and I have no problem copying dvd backup to my hd. some times ps2 spits out the dvds but I think it's because the disc were unreadable.
