Porbbaly old hat, but what stops the Ps3 from using HDL?

Since the Ps3 is now compatible with HD games, I assume it can make a virtual hd/partition. If you loaded up swap magic and then HDL, if your formatted the drive, would it only do the virtual drive and if so then you could install games? I know this is thought up before but I can't find anything on it...

because there is no such a thing like that so far .

i don't think there will be a homebrew or a software like HDLoader to play games off hdd

it will be closer like PSP ( Hacking the Firmware) and making a CFW .

Er, not a Ps3 game HDL but using the Ps2 HDLoader to load ps2 games on a 60gb PS3 since games like FF11 and stuff now can install to hd.

They block the code much like DNAS does.
