ok, so i first used winhiip to format my seagate 300gb hdd. then i used hdl_dump to transfer isos over the network. i then put the hdd into my computer to use winhiip to transfer an patched iso. this is where the problem begins. about half the isos were 'bad partn'. i decided to delete the first game with 'bad partn', to see if it would fix it, but it deleted all that were 'bad partn'.
i searched the site and they said not to mix hdl_dump and winhiip...but this was after i had already lost the data. i tried to use 'Easy Recovery Pro' to recover the data. it found it, but it was in random files. i viewed some of the bmps and they were in one of the games i lost.
how do i rebuild the isos with the files i found?
also, there should be more warnings about not mixing hdl_dump and winhiip
thx for ur input

same thing happened to me
winhiip said i had no free space but i had 60 gb left when i tried to put gt4 on my hd so i erased a game
i lost 30 games
i think the reason was becuase i didnt change the option to 48 bit becuase it showed more free space then 24 bit
but again i did not click on the options button ontil after i lost the games
oh darn
i wish i studied the program before i messed with it
did you format in 48 bit becuase thats needs to be done for a big hd
im formatting my 200 gb right now in 48 bit
