my hdloader worked great w/my maxtor 120 until 2nites ago it sais it cant find a hd. if i remove the jumper,it shows up as slave and shows correctly up in winhipp and i can extract and add inmages. i went out and bought a new NA didnt help.could my jumper plastic peice be bad since i dont need it for slave or is it my ps2 its either ps2 or jumper thing,but it aint that plastic peice becuz i conected it where master is with some foil and it didnt work,somethin internally or ps2?i also had a 2gb that i put in and it said to format but it froze during formating and i reset after that it dont show up either ,could be becuz of formatting plzzz help

Try not tightening the screws too tight on the back of the modem. Sometimes if you tighten them too tight the ps2 will not see the HD as attached.

ive been tryin for over 2 hrs and i never even tightened the screwes i never had to before also i dont think its my hd as i put it in my comp set as master and the other hd in comp was master and it said some error so i think its my ps2

What version is your PS2? Some of the earlier PS2s had seperate boards for the expansion slot and there's a chance something went wrong with it if you actually had one.

its a version 7 im gonna use a air compresser once i get to my dads since hes got one and blow it out>>lol if its just my ps2 then i dont care cuz i can sell my hd and na for like 120 dollars so i also wanna try it on someone elses but i cant find neone
