playing foreign games

if i get a PAL region game can i play it on an NTSC ps2 with an NTSC version of HDA?
yes or no will be fine no need to explain

You will need to either patch the game to output NTSC video or get a PAL video compatible TV. The game will switch the PS2 to PAL mode.
