PFS shell with a local HD
I tend to use WinHIIP get games on to my HD. By far the quickest way for me is to put the ps2 drive into an external HD case connected to the PC via USB2. This works like a charm :D
I've been using a USB mem stick to tranfer music/vids etc to a seperate HD partition which I then use SMS to play.
I've seen several posts referring to pfsshell and the fact you can use it to copy files to an HD connected locally to the pc
So far I've not had any success with the "device" command in getting the pfs shell program to connect to my HD (connected via usb)
Has anyone managed to get pfsshell to work in this configuration ?
if so how EXACTLY did you manage it. PFS shell is after all a little light on the documentation front as far as I can see.
Is there any other better way of transferring files? The USB stick method is just a bit slow and I don't really want to be burning dvds all the time.
