Hi.
1st Sorry, coz of my english. I'm from Poland.
2nd I'm complete noob with hdd+ps2.
3rd My hardware is:
- PS2 77004 PAL
- Swup Magic 3.8 Coder
and some experience with burning PS2 games and running .ELF files
OK! Let's start. As you know i'm complete noob. I read some informations about connect PS2 with HDD. I have some questions to experts.
1. Do my PS2 will connect with HDD and won't void my PS2 warranty?
2. Which program I must use (HDL, USBeXTREME ect.)?
3. How connect my PS2 with HDD? Some kind USB Cases for HDD?

dont know what do you mean

in case usb hdd its usbextreame.any exteranl hdd its usbextream or usbadvance

usbextreame not the elf
but you know this method is sucks for playing games from HDD ..
1-slow loading
2-many games doesnot run at all
3-others works fine ..

Hi komarEX.
Since you have SCPH-77004, the only possibility to connect HD is by USB ports.
1. You must connect it by USB ports, so it won't void your warranty.
2. For USB HDD you must use USB eXtreme/USB Advance
3. You may use USB case, or such adapter, it doesn't matter.
4. No, with USB HDD the loading times will be greater - since PS2 has USB 1.1, so speed will be very low - many FMVs or music will stutter.
5. You may use native USB eXtreme program, http://www.hdadvance.com/download/

Więc skoro masz SCPH-77004, jedyna możliwość na podłączenie dysku będzie przez USB.
1.Dysk podłączasz przez USB, więc nie tracisz gwarancji
2. Do dysków USB potrzebujesz USB eXtreme albo USB Advance (to w sumie to samo)
3. Zarówno obudowy, jak i przejściówki będą działać.
4. Z dyskiem na USB prędkości będą dużo mniejsze - muzyka, filmiki, czy same gry będą się przycinać.
5. Możesz używać oryginalnego programu do USBeXtreme
