patching hdloader elf –
hi ive been looking around for days now and trying different things but i cant get the hang of this patching.
ive got hdloader elf unpacked and 2,977,792 bytes in size
and a ftplink to my ps2 for transfering the elf
all i want to do is update to HDLPATCH 0.6d (witch i also have a copy of)
so i can play world snooker 2005 on my ps2 hdd.
thanks for any help in advance.
Um, where's the problem? HDL_AIO is pretty straightforward, isn't it?
not realy when i patch it it gives me a bak file and i dont know what to do with that.
usefull reaplys would be helpfull not sarcastic ones thanks.
It should also give you the patched ELF file. If you're still having trouble with HDL_AIO, post in [ur=http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27645]this thread[/url]. It should also have an answer to your question.
Dude, you can only get usefull replies if you provide more information on exactly what your specific problem is. I wasn't even being sarcastic; just honestly asking where the problem was.
Its makes 2 .bak files, those are back ups one b4 you up graded the core(of you did) and one before the patching. It saves the new on as the elf you loaded(example: if you loaded HDAdvanced.elf, your out put would be HDAdavanced.elf.) Also, don't forget to pack it.
ok so i updated the core patched it and added some splash screens packed it back up and the elf comes out as 0 bytes and wont work what am i doing wrong thanks
i do all my patching and skinning through command prompt. never had a prob yet, not as easy as HDL_AIO but still easy to use and less errors if any. let me know if you need anymore help
I normally use HDL_AIO to patch but I like to patch through command prompt if you show me how. Thanks.
