hi guys. is it possible that i can create partitions on the hd (non $ony) i use for my ps2, so that i can store some PC data on it as well, and that this partition can be read by Windows ?

    not a chance

hdl requires the mbr to be in it's own specific state with apa partition pointers etc. if you try to partition the drive so that the pc side of it is toward the end of the drive, i believe this will overwrite the sector 0 mbr. and if so, then no more working ps2 partition.

since i've never tried it tho, i say try it on a fresh drive
format with winhiip or hdl itself, then create a pc partition at the physical high sector end of the drive, then check out sector 0 with winhex to see if it has been overwritten. i'm sure it will be
