PAL or NTSC? Plz help!

I've tried searching all in this forum - but can't find this bit of information. So, if someone could help me I'd much appreciate it.

Do I need the PAL or the NTSC version of HDLoader - are they different? If so, how do I know which version I need? And Can they both play the same games?

by the way, my ps2 is a brand new 50001 model :zapengo:

that depends on wether you have an US or EU ps2. the ntsc loader only works on US models and PAL only on EU (unless you have a modchip, in which case it makes no real difference).
