Hi,
I have the original HDA 2.0 disc. Is it hard to convert my disc into an hda.elf? I've done searches, but only came up with packing/unpacking/patching existing hdl.elf. Is this something a noobie can do?
Thanks

i dont know how to convert a cd to an elf, but i think you would be better off just getting the elf from an online source, and yes its easy for noobs, just look at the hdd forum and look at the stickys!!! they have most (all) information you will need to what u need to with the hdl/hda elf's
hope that helps
1. Extract the SLUS or SLES file from the DVD. Rename it to HDADVANCE.ELF
2. Now you have to pack it. Use PS2PACKER to do this. I found this line on another thread and it was the only one that worked for me.
ps2packer -b 0x1b00000 .\hdadvance.elf .\hdadvance_pack.elf
Hope that helped.![]()
