I"m just excited and i must tell someone....So since someone say that it's not possible to get Cheating DEvice to work with HDloader, I thought I should try it too....I remember someone posting that Gameshark works....wEll...I have both Codebreaker and GAmeshark....I try them both and to my surprize, GS work...CB didn't but who cares....GS work....my ver is GS2v3.....I can't believe it....I've never been happier.....

oh yeah....I have a v9(i think) with a fliptop....it's a lot of swapping but I STILL DON'T CARE.... :love: I got it to work..... :nana:

lol you didnt get it to work with any games that are on hdloader, thats for sure. you can however load some cheat apps like codebreaker 7, gsv3(without saves im sure) and possibly some others that do not rely on other files to boot. You will still however have to run your game from cdrom when cheating so its freaking pointless.

Dude....i'll make it clear for ya....This is for FAtal frame 2 Crimson butterfly....and...Spider-man 2...They both work.....Codebreaker and GAmeshark2v3 both don't need the DONGLE like AR so it's possible to make it boot using ps2menu...but that's besides the point....here's what I did....

--put in my trigger psx disc>>PS2menu boot up
--pick my GS2v3 that I have and run it
--GAmeshark2 v3 boot up and i CAN create AND save the new cheats
--Select my cheats and go to start game>>tray automatically open
--stick in SwapMagic DVD(smCD isn't booting homebrew stuff well)
--fliptop and put in DVDloader
--when DVDloader load, press EJECt and put in a regular ps2CD game
--after the ps2 refrest the TOC, fliptop it and put in your ps2menu cd-r(this isn't the exploit disc, this is a ps2 formatted homebrew disc)
--ps2menu boot up>>pick HDloader and run it
--in HDloader, pick your game that you've select cheats for


And that's it....DUDE....I don't know about you guys with MODCHIP but anyone with a slidecard/fliptop with swapMagic and Gameshark2 v3 can get this to work....it's a longer process but who cares...it worked....Anyone who don't believe can try it....

dude...if someone else will just try it...they can confirm this....i'm playing spider-man 2 with infinite health and no timer....fatal frame with infinite health and inf film....

Even R-type final works....all ships, invincible....I dunno why Simpson hit & run didn't work but I haven't give up...I think I just got the code wrong.....

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE do this!!!!!!...Am I the only one that did this.....dude..

i have a burned copy of CD and GS.. will it still work?

- DUO-2 modchip
- Free HDLoader and 120gb Maxtor

tried it with gs v3 hdloader cd and gta vice city in hdloader. nothing worked at all.

---zragnarok---Since I don't have a modchip, I can't confirm if that will work...sorry...if you can tell me what you have...I can try to come up with a way of bootingg....because I don't know if you have hdloader on MC or on cdr...

*G*...I'm guessing you have a modchip in your ps2...right??....

....So I found out that Simpson Hit & Run didn't work...The code works if I play using DVDr but as for using HDloader, this game plays but no code effect...I'll try to change some of the MODEs to see if that'll help....

i tried Vice City and NFSU with gs cheats enabled back when hdloader first came out. I too have a fliptop, and did my swapping almost similar to yours agee..just less complex. (due to my gs version and how mine does not automatically open the tray)

anyway, both games did not work with gs codes enabled. now if someone could try spiderman 2, (i dont have it) then we will know for sure.
