Newbie PS2 ISO question

Is there a FAQ where I can learn and understand how to use an ISO and the HDD? I recently bought HDLoader and love it. However, I've been reading through some posts here and see people talk about ISO's and such. Could I say, go to suprnova, download and ISO and use HDL_dump to transfer the ISO to the HDD?

Yes you can do that. All u need to do is get the iso and then hook up the hdd to the computer and the transfer the iso

yes you ca, my advice is to get an external hard drive enclosure so you don't have to open up your computer case everytime. i am using a usb2 case and i can transfer a dvd iso in 5-7 minutes. transfering over the network is super slow so i would not advise it.

can u tell me what software do i need to transfer my iso to my ps2 hdd
or will my pc will detect it as a new parttion then i can cut & past the iso ??

hdl_dump(b) and winhiip are both iso transferring tools. You can use either one of them, but i advise once you choose one program, stick with it. personally, i use winhiip for transferring my isos.
