Newbie Here! - Please Help!

Hi guys!
I'm new here so I'd like some help from all of you.
I sure don't know much about PS2 stuff, so can anyone tell me with simple words how can I change my HDLoader skin?
I know it sounds a little bit stupid but as I told before I am new to all this stuff.I already tried to install HDLoder.elf (patched with BMP Batch) more than 1000 times but installation always fails...
Is there anyway to create an .ISO of my HDLoader and replace (somehow)
the HDLoader.elf there?

If it's not so much trouble for u please help me...

You can change the HDLoader skin using HDLPatch:

If your HDLoader is crunched (about 600kb in size), then decrunch it using sjuncrunch.exe!

My problem is that I can't get the HDLoader.elf on my Memory Card.
Installation always fails.Maybe this is happening because I'm doing something wrong.I use CDVD.IRX , EXPINST.ELF , SYSTEM.CNF , TITLE.DB and a folder
containing BOOT.ELF , HDLOADER.ELF , IPCONFIG.DAT , PS2IP.IRX , PS2LINK.IRX , PS2SMAP.IRX.I burn the disc with Nero (Mode2) and when I boot it I get a message that says installation failed because TILE.DB can't be opened.

I don't know if any of these is correct but if someone could help me from the beginning to the end I'd really appreciate it.

Are you sure that all names are correctly spelled and your PS1 CD is in the title.db? You can post it here, so I can look if there is s.th. wrong with it.

Make sure you are trying with a PS2 memory card only, a ps1 card will give the error you described :)

I use a Sony PS2 Memory Card 8MB so there is no problem there.
I did everything based to the following tutorial : http://home.socal.rr.com/hypnotika/h...20tutorial.htm .
Also got the files from there too.
Please if you don't have anything else to do check it and tell me if everything in it is correct.

Ohh and something else...

I used the PS2OS v0.2 File Manager and copied HDLoader.elf to BADATA-SYSTEM folder of my memory card (based on the tutorial of http://www.lookatthemonkeys.com) then booted hdloader disc but nothing changed.

I think the problem is that you used BADATA-SYSTEM... european consoles use BEDATA-SYSTEM...

can you upload your modified title.db for checking, not the one in the exploit archive.

The folder was already there with this specific name.
What is your suggestion? - Should I rename it?

Just checked again.The folder name is BEDATA-SYSTEM (my mistake).
I've got inside all the files from the FILES folder I mentioned before but nothing happens.

Burn a CD-ROM with:

- SYSTEM.CNF
- HDLOADER.ELF

The SYSTEM.CNF should look like this:
BOOT2 = cdrom0:\HDLOADER.ELF;1
VER = 1.10
VMODE = NTSC

Burn those two files with:
- mode2/xa
- ISO 9660 charset
- ISO Level 2 (Max of 31 chars)
- Joliet disabled

Now you should have a working HDLauncher boot CD, if your PS2 is modded.
