well, u could read my tutorial, link is in my signature. It contains basic stuff also.
for network and hdd stuff.
well, u need this:
a fat PS2.(the old one)
a HDD (maxtor will do fine, set jumper to MASTER, size doesnt matter)
a modchip or exploit installed on the PS2 to boot homebrew apps like HDLoader
an UTP cable. Cross-cable for direct link between PC and PS2,
or a straight-cable if u have a router in between.
FTp client like Flash fxp.
and radhost client to host the files on your PC. For instance: to stream movies with SMS. (get it on this forum sumwhere)
'booting' basicly means 'starting' a program. so u dont 'boot'' bin and cue files.u BURN bin and cue files to a cd. then u can pop them in ur PS2, IF u have a modchip of some kind. Depending on the contents of the bin&cue file ofcourse.
or perhaps u meant 'mounting' bin&cue files with DEAMON tools?
So u can extract the files of that image.

u can sent them from PC to PS2 with HDL dumb
or ofcourse u can pop the game in your PS2 and then transfer it.
the speed i get over network is 2.2 MB/s about 30 mins per game.
first u have to buy a network adpater and HDD. then u need HDloader to laod the games from HDD.
