Newbie Guide to get Started!!!

Hi

I've the hardware, but i dont know how to start this. can anyone help me or where can i get a tutorial that can show me step by step how to do this hdd for my ps2? btw. what are the software do you need to setup a hdd in my ps2? i know you need hd loader, but what else do you need?
