    How do u connect a HDD to a ps2 and will any HDD work?
    Please either post the answer here or direct me to a link.
    Any help would b appreciated.
    And can that HDD be connected to the computer later like for transferring save games.

    the hdd is connected thru the back...where the NA goes, u open that and the space is there...there is a link with all the compatible hdd and software but i cant find it...its here somewhere... =/ you should use the search button because im pretty sure the answers are in this website...

    Yes they are but I'll point you in some directions.

    You need a network adaptor to connect it to a PS2, and no not any HDD will work. Since you are new, I would advise you to stay away from Western Digitals. Seagates work generally well but if you want to be almost certain the drive will work stick with Maxtor. Try to go for 40GB-120GB. psdrives.x-pec.com has a list of compatible drives, but even sometimes, the most compatible drive doesn't work for some configurations.

    No, the HDD can't really be connected that way to transfer saved game files. But you can use the network adaptor to transfer save files to your PC from your memory card.
