One of the easiest wys to transfer games to your hard drive is to use winhiip or any other similar program.

then how do i transfer it? do i transfer the image? or how do i do it since the game i downloaded was a .bin file and i extracted the files

you can delete the files, and just keep the bin file. To use winhiip, connect the ps2 drive to your computer, either through ide or external usb (preferred method). And transfer the image that way.

also when im adding the image its adding the .cue , i thought that the .bin was the one that it needed to transfer , and it asks me the mode compatibility mode 1,2,3 wich one do i choose?

cue files are just little text files that are pointing to the bin file, so you are alright on that count. For compatibility modes, for initial transferring you can leave them as-is, but if a game does not work, you can always change the modes using hdloader itself. Most games work with no modes at all, but a few are tricky.

thanks for the info, but i have one more question, what about if i want to add a game to my hd and i dont have the .cue nor the .bin? i mean if i only have the files and folders can i still get it to work like that?

NO image only, you can try making an image from the files and it MAY work but i doubt it you can read about in another forum about how to resize games that will show you how to make image files in a special way that may work form the files.......
