Hey, I was just wondering if its possible to buy or make some sort of cable that goes from the network adapter into the ps2 expansion slot bit? The reason I ask is that my HDD gets stupidly hot in that enclosed expansion bay, and I really do mean insanely hot (i cant even pick it up after a good session). I'm sure this cant be good for my HDD & the ps2.

Its quite an old HDD which is probably the main reason it gets so hot (its a seagate 30gig one, 5400rpm).

    Any suggestions welcome =]

I do know that the cable can not exceed 6 - 8 inches in length.... the signal integrity degrades too much... But this should be enough to attach to a Swap bay either on top or underneath the PS2.
