Network Adapter doesnt work with 320gb HDD
Network Adapter doesnt work with 320gb HDD –
Is this possible that some NA(original Sony) doesnt work with bigger HDD(mine is 320gb Seagate). This NA works fine with 250gb Seagate HDD but not with this 320gb.With OPL it stops on Open PS2 Loader 0.6 (rev 243)text,with HDL same situation - the disc didnt start spinning(dont see this light indise PS2).
It sometime boot game list but usually not.
My two others NA SCPH-10350 works with this drive but the third SCPH-10350 not or can it be something itself with NA that it has problem with powering NA?

I use a 300GB and 400GB Maxtor and Seagate in mine. I know of people using 750GB and larger
You could check the hdd compatibility list too see if that drive had issues or not
Check the drive again maybe in Winhiip and see if there are any issues.

loki try removing the metal plate and take a look at the board - who knows, the problem may be visible and you could re-solder the problematic place?
I've "heard" about some issues with different NAs... Could you supply some info about the country of origin? Mine is "made in japan" and haven't got any issues with 5-6 different hard drives
So you've managed to bring it back from the death Nice to read that
Mine has gone asleep too :/ I've checked it for disconnected wires but everything seems ok... I'll disassamble it tonight and really hope it'll revive as yours loki :/
I've used it without the metal plate as my hdd is WD and it doesn't plug-in with the plate...
It used to not work from time to time but the last time i've visited a friend to replay the matches from the world cup it didn't turned on no matter what I've tried (reconnecting, blowing the dust, etc.). When I boot up OPL the fan revs up, the HDD starts too but than the later it isn't recognized. I've checked the HDD and everything is fine with it
actually all Sony network adapters are made in japan the main thing is some na's only work with specific ps2's
