Anyone have any problems running this game from their hard drive? I have it running with mode 3 but the game still freezes up

I just installed it HDL_Dumb, and it won't boot ( black screen after chosing it from the list ). I have HD Loader 0.7c. Anyone with the same problem ?

have you tried using v0.8a?

I have it running with mode 3 but the game still freezes up

try using a slower dma mode.

sadly NGBC doesnt work with and version hdloader

there's a damn trick that people is doing that's the way a play neogeo battle coliseum, in the first SNKPLAYMORE logo you need to wait a bit and when the logo start to dissapear and the screen start to be grey,(U need to be the fastest guy ever ) you need to smash the start button as fast as you can,take time to do it the first time but with practice y'all can do it, you can skip the intro where it freezes and voila you can play the game and never is gonna freeze again, and don't put autosave in the options because this can mess your memory and you gonna need to format it to work again and all ur saves will be lost, only save manually every time you pass the game and discover another secrets & characters, and save and that's it, i read this in another forum and i try it and it really works believe me, this is not a joke, i'm serious, the better version of Neogeo battle coliseum is the PS2CD GENIUS (This don't freeze with the trick) the PS2DVDFULL (Even with the trick freezes randomly when you are playing and is not good, the screen freezes often, you can't even play sometimes)


I hope i help somebody that want to play this game, and maybe with another games that freezes in the intro we can do that, hehe bye
